 • Series: Week 3

Hey friends, Chances are, already in these first two and half weeks you’ve encountered some turbulence in maintaining your Bible reading habit. Maybe you’re not totally off the rails, but you may have hit some bumps in the road. Fallen behind a day or two? Use the rest day to catch back up? Maybe, maybe not. Most new year resolutions fail sometime between mid to end of January. Ouch. Two main drivers for that in light of our journey might be: 1. Sustaining the daily habit of Bible reading as “life” happens. (It always does.) 2. Struggling through the content of the Bible reading. (Yeah, there’s some strange and ugly stuff in there! Some curious details that you may well wonder what it has to do with you in your life.) I pray you’re finding this journey to be more of a joy and delight than a chore or a checklist item. As you have a chance, drop me a line: How’s it going for you? What’s catching your attention about Jesus in John’s gospel? How is it for you praying the psalms with Jesus?
